Elemental analysis service

Introduction

The Microanalytical service uses the latest generation of CHNS analyser to analyse carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen in one analysis, via combustion. Sulphur analysis can also be included if required. Chlorine, bromine and iodine analysis can also be carried out using a classic oxygen flask combustion technique, with each element analysed individually. Results are presented as a percentage of the total sample (by weight).
